In Kristina Česonytė’s “It's Friday,” a character wearing glasses and holding what might be an instrument or a glass embodies the freedom, fun and slightly wild spirit of Friday. Repeating dots in the background create a festive, rhythmic mood.
The work pulses with energy, irony and an invitation to celebrate the moment — that feeling when the week is ending and we can allow ourselves a little more lightness. The viewer is invited to carry this mood with them even on days when Friday still feels far away.
